		<description>It is an eyesore. I spent a lot of time re-coding a blogger.com template to get it to look the way I wanted. I was hesitant to put Adsense ads on my blog for one of the same reasons you mentioned... it would cheapen the blog. Of course it does. 


Regardless of whether or not it&#039;s utilized properly, it&#039;s an ugly addition to any blog and it makes the author&#039;s articles seem disingenuous. Readers don&#039;t click and clicker&#039;s don&#039;t read.
