Make IE7 standards compliant with javascript tool

Wired.com reports on a javascript tool that “makes Internet Explorer behave like a standards-compliant browser and, perhaps most notable for the designers among us, the scripts add transparent PNG support for both IE5 and IE6. ” In order to get it to work, you just have to add a snippet of code to your page’s head tags.

    Lol. That has to be the ultimate hack! Could be useful for people just wanting to put up a small scale blog for their friends to use though. But not much use for anything moderately serious.

    Yeah – it tries to force IE7 to become something it is most definitely not. But who knows, maybe somebody could use it.
