Page Link Manager WordPress plugin: exclude Pages without coding

| January 8, 2008 | 2 Comments

The Page Link Manager WordPress plugin creates a place in your admin where you can select which Pages will appear in your list of pages, and which will be excluded. This means that your clients can easily do this themselves, and it saves you a bit of trouble too.

Another plugin which is useful for controlling your menu is the one which allows you to combine your categories and pages into one menu and place them in any order you want. I don’t have a link to it right now, but I remember reading about it a while back.

I’ve never had a use for it as I usually just hard code my menus in place as I’m the only one whose needed to edit them so far. But I can see that they would be very useful for non-coders.

I just came across that one: Sticky Menu. But if you look at the comments, you’ll see that a lot of people had trouble with it. Also, I’m wondering if the page_is function works with this plugin, so that the right page in the nav bar is highlighted.
