@Andrea – I didn’t notice that problem when I was using this plugin, but it was a while ago plus I actually stopped using it. I can’t remember why, but there was something I didn’t like about it. See, that’s why I write this blog – to remember all these WordPress details, and I didn’t write down why I stopped using this plugin.

In your steps you say, “You will have to set up a cron job. I’ve never done that before, but the plugin author has made it really easy. You are given a line of code to use. Log in to your Control Panel, and under Advanced you will see an icon called Cron jobs. Click on that, and choose Standard. Paste your code snippet into the box called Command to run, and click on Save Crontab. That should do the job.”

I’m running my WordPress site on a GoDaddy server and I have access to a control panel to add cron jobs. I have done so, but it still doesn’t seem to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions or help? Has anyone running a GoDaddy hosted WP used this plugin successfully?

Then I use Alex King’s Twitter Tools which assembles the days tweets into a blog entry and also displays the running microblog in the sidebar.

So far it works for me. The only thing is I find myself regularly going over the 140 limit and having to pare down. But the good thing about the Twitter interface is it stays right there after posting so I can just add additional thoughts into a second tweet and it will appear in chronological order in the Twitter Tools-created blog.
