You can set how often you wanted emailed. I set mine for daily, although you can choose hourly, weekly, monthly or whatever you want I think. WordPress releases new upgrades on such a frequent basis, that it's really not possible to upgrade immediately all the time. I'm going to write a post about what you must to before upgrading to make sure that you don't lose important things like, shall we say, categories! Lorelle was spoke about the importance of keeping up to date with the latest edition of Wordpress due to security concerns so as soon as I saw an update I went for it without thinking.
